The Michigan School Report Cards have now been issued for the 2008-09 school year. The North Central Jr. High School received an “A” and the high school received a “B”. The high school’s grade is affected by the Phoenix Alternate School not meeting AYP due to their graduation rate not meeting the standard set by the state. We feel the Alternative School serves a very important need in our area by providing an education to North Cenral, Bark River-Harris and Carney Nadeau students who are at-risk of dropping out of school.
