NORTH CENTRAL ELEMENTARY

      Thank you for visiting the North Central Area Schools website.

Unbelieveably, another school year has come to an end. If the old saying,”TIME FLIES WHEN YOU’RE HAVING FUN” is true, then we had a “BLAST!” It seems like yesterday we were welcoming students to school for the start of the new year. Everyone was excited to be back at school and looking forward to new challenges. On Thursday, June 3rd, everyone was excited again; this time they were looking forward to a little R & R.

 

Looking back at the 2009-10 school year, North Central Elementary had an excellent year. Combining a lot of hard work with some fun activities thrown in, students report they enjoyed the year & learned a lot. It’s rewarding to see the progress & growth our students gain during the year.

 

I’d like to thank everyone who contributed to our success; teachers, aides, secretaries, cooks, custodians, bus drivers, parents/guardians, volunteers, Foster Grandparents and the people in our district who support us. Without everyone working together we could not accompish what we did. THANK YOU!!

 

This is my last newsletter as superintendent/elementary principal at NCAS. I will retire before the start of the 2010-11 school year. I want to thank everyone who welcomed me and supported our district. It was an honor working in this district and I’ll leave with some very fond memories of NCAS, especially of the outstanding students.

 

I hope everyone has a safe, happy and healthy summer vacation.
